Timesheet Overview
eTech's Web-Based Timesheet is designed to simplify the time and effort that companies expend managing employees and tracking attendance and leave. The primary objective is to simplify the tracking of time and projects while providing management and employees easy access to important payroll information.

This is the time sheet entry screen with some entries done and saved. Users can enter timesheets on a weekly or daily basis from a single screen. This one screen is used to view and manage time entries for the entire week.

When starting a new week, the time sheet will default to those projects and operations that were entered in the previous week. Users may also enter time sheets two weeks in advance. This feature can be used to enter vacation time and scheduled absence. To delete a row, blank the project and operation and then save.

Timesheet Configuration

Control the layout of the timesheet using the options in the Company Control menu. Under "Include Columns" in the Timesheet Control section, you can decide which columns to include in your timesheet. By enabling or disabling columns for Phase, Operation, Task, and Bill Code, the eTech Timesheet provides the flexibility to handle simple or complex projects from one timesheet.

Timesheet Task Notes

To enter Notes for a Task, double-click on the daily cell (number of hours) to open the notes screen. The notes window will open allowing the user to enter notes about the activity performed this day for this specific Project and Task. Notes can be flagged as Internal or External. External note will be visible on the Client Invoice or reports.

For cells that have notes existing, the color of the cell value will be green. By placing the mouse over the day cell the system will display any notes that are associated with the cell. Click on the week total time will display all the notes for the week for the specific task.
